Free Agent QBs an interesting market.

Even though there is not a great crop of Free Agent QBs out there it could be very important for some teams that will play in this segment of Free Agency. Many NFL teams still need a good QB and that position only has an elite few. While many teams tried to grab some rookies in the draft there are teams that didn't enter that lotto and will be looking hard in Free Agency for a gem in the rough. And while you may not get a QB to build your franchise around you still have to be looking carefully for a QB that might be two wins better than the guy you have. Even those who grabbed Rookies may want a vet to mentor or even start early of so their rookie can watch with a clipboard for a while.

This market will be driven by two Qbs in my opinion.

First where Kolb gets dealt to.
Second if McNabb gets cut.

Once Kolb is gone, the first FA to go will be Hasselbeck.

Then if McNabb is released it will be between him and Young for next to go.

Rest will just fill in as can.

Oh, and no I don't see Denver dealing Orton. They need Tebow insurance. Fox is not an idiot on that.

How many quaterbacks are available as UFA's, and how many are just available because their teams are through with them? Hasselbeck could be attractive because he's available for no compensation. Kolb will cost something, and I think he'll be overrated (Andy Reid QB's don't tend to get better after he leaves). Young's pretty good and available on the cheap, but he's an immature head case. I can't how much McNabb has left in the tank. Shanahan pretty much turned everything he touched last year into a disaster (but who knows if they won't be better for it this year).

Of all spoken of, only Hasselbeck is a UFA. Bulger as well.

Mcnabb, Kolb, Young and Orton would need to be cut or traded.

Here is my order for possible QB's either in FA or traded // released to go elsewhere.

Out of the names mentioned above.

1- Hass Bar-Nunn is the best of the bunch

2- K.Orton

3- V.Young, I think Young has more upside than Orton but Young's melt downs out weight the upsides.

4- K.Kolb limited experience, has shown he has some talent.

5- D.McNabb will be a back up somewhere.

M.Bulger stay's in Baltimore

Thats my .02 :door:

Bulger is a gutless wonder. He has no desire to be a starter, like Kurt Warner said.

Quite frankly, I don't blame him. The guy makes $4 million to sit the bench.
