I didnt see any of Blount on Sunday, who is the better player to have going forward? Blount or Woodhead. I need a starter for this week so I need immediate production what is Blounts projected workload this week?

Both seem to be increasing their roles. The short version is very close, Blount is the non-ppr play, Woodhead may be the better PPR play this week.

I would go Woodhead. If you have followed the Pats over the years they turn up the running game as the weather starts getting white. This is about the time every year that we all looked at Faulk, scratched our heads and said to ourselves, "why isn't he rostered?" Woodhead is Faulk without the Moss TD draw.

E. Graham is getting healthy and may play this week. This may affect Blount's production.

This is sort of the key. Tampa Bay doesn't really have an identity as far as it's running game. They want to be a passing team but the way they use RBs is mysterious. Blount had 11 caries for 72 yards for a 6.5 YPC, if you had a back rushing at that clip why wouldn't let him have more carries in that game? There has been very little rhyme or reason to how they use their backs and they don't run much at all either. Woodhead has at least carved out a niche and has a specific role in the O for the Pats. Now that role limits his touches to 10-15 but he will get those 10-15 every week.

More info is always good info:

After their performance in Sunday's 18-17 win over the Rams, Cadillac Williams and LeGarrette Blount were each awarded a game ball by Bucs coach Raheem Morris. But they can expect to share one for the rest of the season. Blount made his case for more playing time by rushing 11 times for 72 yards, 66 yards in the second half. He had a 46-yard run called back after a penalty. On Monday, offensive coordinator Greg Olson indicated the Bucs plan to use Blount and Williams as their primary running back rotation. But he was quick to note that Williams will not be limited to third-down duty.

By all accounts, Williams has been dreadful as a runner this season, averaging a mere 2.5 YPC. He has, however, been usable in PPR lately, catching five or more passes in three of his last four games. Blount, on the other hand, is averaging 4.9 YPC and just missed out on a 100-yard game in Week 7. Despite Olson's assertions, Blount likely is not far away from becoming the early-down back and relegating Williams into a third-down role.

love them both as a low end RB, but slight nod to Blount. Caddy has been terrible, and I just dont see how Blount does not take over. but again, said this a few times on the forum, im totally sold on him, picked him up in every league he was available except my extremely shallow leagues.
