Flex Start, Moeaki,Murphy,or B.Tate?

As title says.. flex start W/T...

Moeaki @ Texans
Murphy@49ers
Tate@ Ravens

Who's the better option?

Sometimes you have to look at your opponent for the week and the machup that presents along with just players rankings. If you are facing a top team in the league you may be more likely to try Tate who is an unknown with a higher upside. But in most cases a solid play is safer. I like Murphy.... he's very solid. I like Moeaki the same way. I would be comfortable with both Murphy and Moeaki and a slight nod to Moeaki. I am a bit prejudiced towards Moeaki as I have him on many teams. If I need a long ball , do or die threat, Go Tate.

I'd say Moeaki unless you're buying into all of the hype surrounding Tate, which I'm not. Not yet buying it anyway.

I was leaning towards Murphy, but at the same time I'm thinking Moeaki as well because I'm using Matt Cassell in a plug in play and if he throws a td to Mooeaki that means double points for me... what do you think?

I would play Moeaki as I see him as the best opputunity not to bagel. He should be good for 5 catches 5o yards and is your best chance at a score.

rotoworld,
Tom Brady confirmed that the Patriots will mix and match their receivers rather than having one player such as Brandon Tate fill the Randy Moss role.

Picture the Pats' backfield and apply it to receiver. In addition to the rookie tight ends, Brady will now be mixing in Julian Edelman and veteran Deion Branch with Tate and Wes Welker. It might be a recipe for success in New England, but it's a fantasy quagmire. Tate won't be a reliable WR3 right off the bat.

Hernandez stands to gain the most in my opinion.

100% agree with RC. Tate could easily get a goose egg.

And to CoachNorm point: I think Moeki has just as good a chance to explode vs the HORRIBLE texans pass D (ranked last in yards/game against), then Tate does against the AMAZING ravens pass D. (2nd best yards/game against).

Moeki hands down for me, dont care what your opponent looks like. He has the best floor and ceiling for me.

Moeki for me as well. Just not ready to bet the farm on Tate and Murphy's success depends highly on which team shows up on game day. Z Miller is the only safe bet in that lineup. So Moeki it is!

Oh and good luck!
