Ravens | Joe Flacco has been working with new WRs Wed May 5, 05:33 PM
Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco said he has been working with WRs Anquan Boldin and Donte' Stallworth a good amount during offseason workouts and things are going well. 'They look great,' Flacco said. 'Donte' can run like I've never seen. Anquan catches the ball unbelievably well. When the ball is behind him, you can't even tell because he makes it look so good. I'm definitely excited.'
Our view: The Ravens have put the fate of the franchise in the hands of their young quarterback. Adding weapons like Donte Stallworth, Anquan Boldin, Ed Dickson, and Dennis Pitta should only help Flacco move the team through the air. It's good to hear that he's establishing a rapport with his new weapons so soon in the offseason.

Expect a big jump in fanatsy production. Sleeper top 12 Qb.

Flacco will definetly do better next year. He has Rice, Heap, Stallworth and Bolding to throw too. All those guys have incredible hands. Would make an excellent backup if not more.

I think Flacco should have a solid year. He has overproduced as a young QB with an inferior supporting cast. Now that he has more weapons it'll be interesting to see how good he really is.

Flacco has so far in his NFL career has been a solid starter and with the new Ravens offensive weapons such as WR A.Boldin should give him a lot more options, until now all he has had to throw to is the reliable D.Mason and T.Heap and not so impressive M.Clayton.

If Mason comes back this could be a very formidable passing attack indeed. keep an eye out for rookie TEs Dickson and Pita in camp if Heap continues to allow nagging injuries to impede his effectiveness.

At the age of 36yrs D.Mason is much better than many WR 10 yrs younger and he really dont show signs of slowing down.

With A.Boldin as his wing man it could be another productive season for Mason, as you said Coach if he decides to play another season

Mason re-signed...so he is back. Look for Mason and Boldin as starters. Add Heap and Dickson as two TE set, and rice in backfield and I would be a very, very nervous DC playing them.

With the added players one would think that there is a definitive increase in offensive production. Flacco enters his third year in the league with a 20 - 12 regular season record, and a 3 -2 playoff record. At 25 years old the next two seasons will likely tell us just what the Raven's truly have.

With a solid OL, and a corps of RB's, including one apparently very special one in Ray Rice, the addition of WR's and TE's should result in a more successful passing attack, and perhaps even a truly balanced offense.

The aging defense continues to lose its dominating style, so they will need to put some points up to return to the playoffs once more; especially after looking at their 2010 schedule

Flacco is in for a better year. The addition of Boldin should open up defenses a little more giving Rice more room to run. Rice is in for a big year! Now they just have to stop McGahee and McClain from stealing his touchdowns.

rotoworld,

Joe Flacco said Friday that he's aiming to be a little "leaner" this year.

The Ravens would like him to play a little heavier considering the bumps and bruises that he suffered last season. But Flacco prefers to feel light on his toes. "I think these guys might want me a little bit above 240," he said Friday, "but the bottom line is, I’m going to play somewhere right around high 230s, 240, and that’s what I’m going to play at."
