I know everyone it's itching for another Favre thread, so it looks like we have a deadline now. By the time the Vikes report to camp they will know if Favre is on board or not....so nice of him.....

Favre's concerns seem to step around if the shoulder can hold up an entire season.

Brett Favre acknowledged he's "running out of time" to decide whether he'll play for the Minnesota Vikings this season. The quarterback told The Associated Press that he'll give the Vikings an answer on whether he'll play by the July 30 start of training camp. Favre has been working out with the Oak Grove High School football team three days a week all summer, but added a Sunday workout this week.

"Its An Outrage"
:xpissed: Why in the hell is Minnesota and Childress waiting for Favre to make a decision on a certain date.
Shouldn't it be the other way around, Vikes telling Favre. :headscratch:

Is Minnesota that desperate for a 40yr old QB. that will most likely get re-injured mid season.

That is what happens when you count on a Sage and Tavaris to man your QB spot.....

Why do you guys continue to rush Favre??? Come one guys, he's old.
Yes he is old. But last year he was old, in a new system, and was still a top 5 Qb in some scoring systems. IF he could cut down on the Ints...he would have been huge. I am wondering if the shoulder wasn't more an issue last year...and that effected his throws.

I also think if the shoulder is better, and he commits...he could have a great year in Minny.
