Favre Signs With Minnesota

I'm just as tired as everybody else on this Favre soap opera, but this story was funny. After i read it, i realized Favre is not a real smart man. Coming off his last two seasons and his ability or lack of to play at this level again is not up to par. His inside child has completly taken over any thoughts he has.

Favre likely to return (again): QB meeting with Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have signed three-time NFL MVP Brett Favre, the team announced on its website Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"We believe adding a player such as Brett Favre to our mix will be a strong positive for this football team," Vikings coach Brad Childress said. "As we have conveyed before, his unique knowledge of our system, the NFC North and his innate skills make this a rare opportunity. We felt there was a brief window to reconsider the possibility and we owed it to the organization to evaluate our options. After thorough discussion, the same variables that made this a unique and positive situation previously, still exist. Now, our attention turns to getting to work as a team, our next practice and preparing for the season."

Entering his 19th year in the NFL, Favre has started 269 consecutive games (291 including playoffs) for the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets, the longest stretch ever by an NFL quarterback and the second-longest streak in NFL history, behind only former Minnesota Viking Jim Marshall (270). The 10-time Pro Bowler holds every significant NFL career passing record and is the league's all-time leader in touchdown passes (464), completions (5,720), attempts (9,280), yards (65,127) and victories as a starting QB (169).

Cutler

Later in the season

Rodgers

Favre

So whomever is the starter for Detroit is by default better than Cutler or Favre? I admire your loyalty, but that's a bit of a reach.
(Sugarcoating it so as to avoid conflict) LOL

Daunte is not the same QB he was last year or with Miami. With CJ he may remind us of his Minny days. That said Stafford will overtake him this season and yes outproduce Cutler.

Favre has some catching up to do and his age will slow his progress. By the end of the year Cutler will be at the bottom. Jay should see a nice rebound next year if Chicago continues to develop their offensive weapons.

Stafford will be a star in the NFL. Hopefully Detroit puts players around him to do so. I would enjoy to see my EX Bulldog become a legacy. This will be the first year since Barry Sanders that i actually cheer for Detroit to win. And as long as they have Stafford ,i will cheer for them. Same as Denver with Moreno. And not really a Bronco fan.

I will simply disagree. In my opinion it is:
Rodgers
Cutler
Favre
Stafford

Culpepper is a waste of contract and money.
