EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Injured Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre tossed a ball around with teammates before practice, but did not throw during the portion of practice open to the media Friday as he prepares for Sunday's game against the New York Giants.
Favre is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants and interim coach Leslie Frazier said it will be a game-time decision on whether he will make his 298th straight regular season start.
Favre, suffering from a sprained SC joint in his throwing shoulder, had his helmet on at practice and took four snaps Friday, but did not throw. Favre handed off with his left hand twice and then took two dropbacks. He didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday.
The Vikings also will have a light walkthrough Saturday, but earlier this week, Frazier said he would be OK with Favre not doing any work all week and then playing on Sunday if the quarterback felt up to it.
"If he could go out in pregame much like we did with Adrian [Peterson's ankle] last week, and he moved around and threw the ball well, yeah, we'd put him out there if it looked good enough for us to do it both medically and from a physical standpoint," Frazier said.
One of Favre's favorite targets, wide receiver Percy Harvin, is listed as doubtful as he continues to battle migraines.
