CBS Sports reports it's doubtful Atlanta Falcons newly added RB Gartrell Johnson will be worked into the rotation barring injuries to RB Michael Turner, RB Jason Snelling and RB Antone Smith. Smith, a speed back, could see some playing time in situations where the Falcons would have used RB Jerious Norwood (knee - out for season).

Norwood has been placed on IR due to a torn ACL, Falcons' official site reports. Analysis: Norwood's injury solidifies Jason Snelling as Michael Turner's top backup and will likely cause the Falcons to bring in some additional running back depth.

I got him in a couple of drafts. One of those guys I looked for very late. Norwood went earlier but I knew he couldn't stay healthy and Snelling looked good in spot duty last year.

Back to the Faulk ACL thing. This could signal the start of the annual Sammy Morris does real good portion of the season. A nice 4-5 game spurt until he gets hurt.
