Per espn...sounds like they really want to win this game for some reason.

MINNEAPOLIS -- So maybe Brett Favre isn't quite done yet.

The Minnesota Vikings said Favre has been upgraded to questionable for Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears.

Spokesman Bob Hagan says the team will watch Favre throw about two hours before kickoff and decide whether Favre can suit up for the outdoors game at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.

Favre didn't practice all week because of a sprained throwing shoulder. The injury kept Favre out of last week's loss to the New York Giants and ended his NFL-record straight of 297 straight regular-season starts.

Rookie Joe Webb is slated to start against the Bears, who can wrap up the NFC North title with a win.

You would think Minny would want to evaluate what they have for next year....

But Favre will be more exciting; since Webb would be more conservative play calling.

He shouldnt. They need to see what the future holds. His time is over.

Then again, Im sure Julius Peppers or Brian Urlacher could put a permanent end to this crap......

Various outlets are reporting that Brett Favre (questionable, shoulder) looked good throwing the ball in pre-game warmups.
Inactive lists are due at 7:04 ET, but all signs point to Favre giving it a shot. We'll bring you an update when the lists come out.
