FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Atlanta Falcons can only hope that first-round pick Peria Jerry stays healthy in his rookie season.

Drafted 24th overall out of Ole Miss, Jerry left the early session of Atlanta's mini-camp Saturday morning with a sprained right knee and didn't return for the late-afternoon practice.

I just read this somewhere else and they said he only had a bruised knee for bumping another players knee. So which is it, a sprain or a bruise ?

It happening this quickly and did he not have a couple injuries in college? With a top pick like him, all bumps and bruises that keep him out of practice is potentially devastating if it results in missing time, lingering...
