The Jets have been "making a heavy pitch" for free agent Jason Taylor and he will visit the team today, according to Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald.
Darlington says the Jets have been going after Taylor for several weeks, but the veteran is just finally accepting it as a possibility now. Taylor is the best pass rusher left on the open market even though he'll be 36 next season he would improve an already nasty Jets' 3-4 defense.
