Drew Bennett visiting Titans

Former Titans receiver Drew Bennett is scheduled to visit with team officials on Monday, possibly the first step of his return to the team.

Bennett, a free agent, is scheduled to undergo a physical at Baptist Sports Park. He’s also paid free agency visits to Cleveland and Atlanta this offseason after being released by the Rams in March.

Having been a fan of Bennetts - wasn't he one of the 1st of the QBs moving to WR??? Can't remember now.

Any way is there any chance of him reviving what remains of his career by coming back home?

If memory serves he was Cooley. Perhaps they are looking at a veteran mentor for Britt?

If this comes to fruition, you could do a lot worse than Britt, Bennett, Nate Washington, Justin Gage and their TE corps for a run-first team.

Potentially a better collective receiving group than they've had since the McNair years.

For a change. Still potentially garbage at WR but at least there is hope.

It would be nice if Bennett could take the field on a weekly basis. I think that was the biggest drawback with him.

Im assuming they would start Washington at 1, Bennett at 2, and Britt in the slot to start the year?
