Yep, knew it would be at least a year...still think it should have been two...but oh well.

1 or 2 years was debatable. What it came down to I think was how Donte' handled the situation. The guy manned up to his mistake and played the right role throughout this whole process. I think 1 year is reasonable, but I could have understood a 2 year ban as well.

1 year is sufficient IMO. Stallworth didnt run and hide from this, he owned up to his mistake. Much in the same fashion as Vick now, serve your sentence and try to move on with your life.

Definitely sufficient. The way Donte handled it I would not have been upset if it was shorter.

Here we go again

A man lost his life to Stallworth being legally drunk behind the wheel of his car.

The loss of a life is forever
so a year suspension away from a sport that he sucked at is a fricken bargain

I agree. The suspension should have been longer. He killed a man because he decided to drink and smoke pot before he got behind the wheel. I also think it's funny that he claims he blinked his lights and honked his horn before he hit the guy. Wouldn't someones first reaction be to slam the breaks before they hit someone with their car? If he's drunk and high I find it hard to believe that he did those things before hitting the guy. I honestly don't think he ever saw the guy.
