Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas, who suffered his second concussion of the season this past Sunday, seems unlikely to play Sunday against the Rams, Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Analysis: Assuming that's the case, Lamar Miller would slot in as Reggie Bush's top backup this weekend, with fullback Jovorskie Lane perhaps seeing some work in third-down and short yardage situations.

Saw an article yesterday late that said Miller is in the dog house in Miami, due to his lack of common sense on the field and missing blocks and bad decisions and such. This could be a chance to change that now.

I hope Miller gets his head on straight and steps up.....this is his shot right here. If he can't do it I'm not sure he'll get another chance. I really need this guy to improve.
