The Miami Dolphins may show interest in New York Giants impending free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw once free agency begins. This is more interesting than it would be due to the no CBA angle this off season. Right now we have no free agency until the bargaining brings about a new agreement.
Right now, a lot of NFL predictors..... uh, reporters are going with. "teams are working from the assumption that the new CBA will return eligibility for unrestricted free agency to four years service."
But there are others who say the same rules will be in effect as before. Right now under the old rules Bradshaw has 4 years, is a restricted free agent, and is tendered with a second round pick. Meaning other teams have to pay him more then the tender offered salary and give the Giants a 2nd round pick.
If it switches to 4 years for becoming a free agent Bradshaw is completely free to sign with any team he wants to.
