DMac, Reggie Bush, and Felix Jones

Is 1 of these guys going to turn into a real RB that can go between the tackles this year ??

McFadden and Jones both can run between the tackles, but both had disappointing rookie seasons due to injuries. Jones was shelved, DMac should have been shelved.

Reggie Bush has shown no signs of being capable of running between the tackles, even when healthy, which isn't often. There was swelling in that knee when training camp kicked off, then attention was taken away from it with a "calf injury". I'm thinking the knee injury is still there and might not go away.

Good point. I wouldn't call Jones' rookie season a complete disappointment though.

For the time he played and amount of touches he had, he showed tremendous promise. I'm guessing he's been lost in that amazing RB class of 08 but not anymore...

I don't think there is any question as to how I will answer this, yes DMac can run between the tackles, obviously he is better outside, but he is an all around RB.

Jones could be as well. Bush, nope, just not that type of player and I think the Saints now understand this.

I will agree with Most. But I think Jones would be wasted if you just push him up the middle. He is one of those flash backs that has so much speed, to be able to just let him run wide and find his hole is a better fit for his speed.

DMac I can agree with Miller. I think at some point he will shine as an all around back. That being said though he has a question mark from me until he can play and not get hurt.
