-- Dez Bryant Given Criminal Trespass Warning --
Tue Mar 22, 2011 --from FFMastermind.com
ESPN reports Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant was given a criminal trespass warning from off-duty police officers at a Dallas shopping mall Saturday. According to the police report, Bryant and some friends were involved in an incident at NorthPark Center where security asked them to pull their pants up because their underwear was showing. Bryant, however, said his pants were up but some of his friends' pants were down. "It really wasn't me in the wrong," Bryant said Tuesday. "It's not even an issue." WFAA-TV in Dallas reported Bryant was banned from the mall for three months. "That's not true," said David Wells, Bryant's adviser. "I was there; it didn't happen." According to the police report, Bryant used profanity and created commotion when confronted by off-duty officers. "What the [expletive], you stopped me like I stole something," Bryant was quoted as saying, according to the police report. Bryant also told police he wasn't leaving until his attorney and representative got there. According to the police report, Bryant has a history of problems at the mall, including an incident at a store where police had to intervene after the wide receiver cut in line and a parking citation for parking in the fire lane. Bryant was also involved in a "major disturbance" at one of the mall's restaurants with an unknown woman. Police were called, but both Bryant and the woman were gone before they arrived. "I told the guy I'm not trying to get in trouble," Bryant said. "I'm not trying to destroy my image. The [warning] wasn't toward me. I was trying to figure out what was going on. It was a big misunderstanding. I was the wrong guy."

Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has grown so frustrated with Dez Bryant's immaturity that he stopped mentoring the receiver months ago.

"I'm upset but not surprised whatsoever," Sanders said of Bryant's latest episode at a Dallas area mall. "He needs help. I told the Cowboys from day one that he needs help. Matter of fact, they have a team in place to help him. But you cannot tell a grown man what to do." Sanders' primary concern is that Bryant's flippant attitude will "poison" the other kids that he mentors. The fire may have finally caught up to all of the smoke emanating from Bryant's red flags. Sanders' assessment is the most serious indictment of Bryant's character that we've seen since he declared for the draft last year.

Thank goodness no one here is crazy enough to assign him a 10 year contract in our dynasty leagues.

Dez keeps on Duzzing:

Profootballtalk.com reports that Dez Bryant is being sued by a Dallas jeweler for $246,000.
Rafaello & Co claims that they provided Bryant with $267,000 in jewelry, and he only paid $21,000. The bulk of the purchases were reportedly made before and after last April's draft. On February 18, 2010, Bryant dropped $144,000, including $60,000 for a "custom charm." Bryant's five-year rookie contract signed in July, 2010 contained a $1.95 million signing bonus.

My 1st thought is, "How focking stupid is this guy". My 2nd thought is, "How focking stupid is this store owner". Noone ever let me walk out of the jewlery store without paying 1st

Oh it gets better.

Updating a previous item, two lawsuits from jewelry stores now allege that Dez Bryant owes over $500,000 in unpaid purchases.
The first suit claimed Bryant owed $246,000. The latest accuses him of failing to pay $293,000 worth of jewels and unpaid sporting event tickets. Bryant co-signed the items with his adviser, David Wells, who allegedly feared losing Bryant as a client and knew he'd hit it rich in the NFL. All of the purchases were made prior to Bryant's rookie season, and many before the draft. Source: Dallas Morning News Mar 29, 10:31 AM
