JoeBryant,
Dallas Cowboys rookie WR Dez Bryant could possibly miss the first few days of training camp as he remains unsigned, according to Matt Mosley, of ESPN.com. Although Bryant was selected with the No. 24 overall pick in the NFL Draft, Bryant's camp could potentially be looking for top-10 money, which could complicate negotiations.

OUR VIEW

We've seen this before from players who felt they should be top picks in the first-round, yet fell down the draft board. Dez Bryant could be a star from day one with the Cowboys, but one thing that could hurt his development as a rookie is a long holdout. It's unlikely that Bryant will get top 10 money, but he could get an incentive laden deal to pump up his contract.

cbssports.com spin,
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Cowboys rookie WR Dez Bryant could be under contract soon even if he misses the start of training camp Saturday. His agent, Eugene Parker, does not expect a lengthy holdout even if Bryant does not report on time. "We are going to work to get it done as soon as possible," Parker said. "They want it done. We want it done."

Analysis: We hope Bryant signs soon and is able to report to training camp without missing too much time. Bryant has the chance to make an impact right away and should be considered a low-end No. 3/high-end No. 4 Fantasy WR in seasonal leagues worth a late-round pick. He is worth a first-round pick in rookie-only leagues.
