(KFFL) New Orleans Saints WR Devery Henderson (hernia) underwent sports hernia Thursday, May 6, reports James Varney, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, citing a story from The Daily Word. Henderson is not expected to miss any time during the preseason if he did have the surgery.

(nfl.com)Saints WR Devery Henderson said that he's doing as much rehab as he can to come back from sports hernia surgery earlier this month, but he couldn't commit to being ready for training camp. Typically the timeframe in recovering from sports hernia surgery is four to six weeks. "I can't gauge it right now because I just got started running and stuff," Henderson said.
