The GM and team president have been fired. Those two being fired in itself is a major victory for the Lions. Apparently ownership is in the building and walking around and deciding who is staying and who is getting fired. Caldwell is safe for now

They are just kicking the can down the road. How many bad GM's do they have to have before the ultimate decision maker looks in the mirror?

Yes, that is my point exactly! Whomever the 'they' is that promoted them is the same 'they' that hired Millen. It is clear that 'they' are incapable of identifying what is needed to be successful in football operations. 'They' need to start relying on someone else to hire their football people.
