Designer of the Dallas logo has passed

Jack Eskridge died Monday, and while it was a simple design which he made out of the lone star, the logo has endured throughout the years(since the late fifties). Landry hired him as an equipment manager and when the team needed a logo, he made one.
On a related note, wondering what the new Dolphin logo will look like. I really like the old one, but speculation of what the new one might look like isn't too bad.

The helmet on the old one looks kind of silly but I prefer the posture of the old one.

The new one does illuminate the elegance of the beast.

Either way, it's just really hard to make a dolphin look ferocious.
