Mostly rumorish now but there are several teams that need QBs and didn't draft one. This teams are now a little exposed as far as there needs go. Kolb appears to be the best prize out there on the Free Agent market but after that Orton mixes in well with the likes of Young, McNabb, Bulger, etc. and might fetch a decent price depending on how the market develops.

It could be very debatable. I like Kolb best but not buy that much. I may be a little more wary of Kolb than some. Likewise I like Orton better than most. Now Kolb will benefit by landing on a pretty good team which helps his upside a bit.

Orton is nothing special. He'll win ya some games but won't take you to prom night. Just look at his past. Chicago for many years looked one step away and they realized Orton wasn't the one to take them there. Denver realized it by drafting Tebow and not drafting another QB so they finally beleive in Tebow. Now talk to Arizona. Sure they will be better but not championship caliber. He'll be a stop gap til they do get a franchise QB. Matter fact thats all Orton will ever be to any team. Hes a solid backup and i'd even be willing to have him here for a year til Gabbert is ready to take over the reigns.

Orton could be a great Care Taker type Qb for a team needing to train up a young Qb. Minny, Tennessee and San Fran come to mind.

I don't know if I agree on Orton. Doesn't it depend on where he lands? He was in Chicago with ZERO wrs, then he went to Denver with 1 stud wr (even if he was a diva) and now...who knows. If he goes to Arizona with Fitz, Breaston, Doucet don't you think he'll be a top 15 QB? I mean look at what Trent Green and Marc Bulger did in St. Louis when they had Bruce and Holt and Faulk. When Trent Green went to KC and had no wrs he wasn't spectacular.
I guess when talk my way through it, I think Kolb and Orton need Arizon and Minnesota as badly as those teams need a QB. Do either of these guys want to go to a sh*t team with no wrs? Buf, Was, Sea all would make these two look really badly, but Arz, Min, and maybe even SF could make these guys look good.

Great point, and I could see him doing better with the proper tools. He made LLoyd look like a true #1 wr, which is a huge stretch for him.

Buffalo doesn't want either, they have Fitzgerald to be the care taker until the future is found.

Arizona does want something like this, since they are close to playoffs and contention for superbowl and need the Qb issue solved. I still think McNabb to Minny while Ponder learns is a shot as well.

I don't know Kolb and Orton NEED top wrs, as Orton has played without them. I do think Minny, San Fran and Arizona has to have definition at Qb to win now.

I think Tenn. will let [gulp] Locker [gulp, sorry throwing up in my mouth a little....[gulp] learn on the fly with Vet support since they are a few years away anyways.

Seattle is an enigma. They say Hass is out due to cost, then they say he could come back, they want Palmer, they want Kolb, they don't want anyone and Whitehurst is okay.....yada yada. I think Seattle would love to get Kolb...and have Whitehurst as back up. But Orton would be solid as well.
