Is there any consensus on which defenses will be the most difficult to score against this season? After the Jets, based on schedules and talent, which defenses would you target?

I like Philly

I don't know if Philly is gonna stop teams from scoring. I see them as more of a turnover/TD defense with some sacks. The Bengals Defense will keep scoring low. Same with Pittsburg. I personally like Miami as a sleeper Defense, if there is such a thing.

Preliminary ratings

Here are my preliminary rankings of defenses with lowest scoring against. I tried to factor in talent, strength of schedule, type of offense (a running team will hold on to the ball longer keeping D fresher), turnovers (resulting in cheap scores), etc. and just some gut feelings.

2. 49rs
3. Ravens
4. Vikings
4. Steelers
6. Packers
7. Bengals
8. Fins
8. Eagles
10. Chargers
10. Bears

Schedule tended to downgrade the Texas teams.

Possible sleepers: Titans & Panthers
