Dallas Clark placed on IR: Done for season

Clark is being evaluated this week for a left hand/wrist injury, head coach Jim Caldwell told the Indianapolis Star.

Recommendation: There's been some wild speculation about Clark's injury, but don't overreact given how guarded the Colts are with injury information. Still, the Colts have acknowledged he has some sort of injury, so watch his status closely. It's also notable that the Colts re-signed tight end Gijon Robinson on Tuesday.

Anybody have any information on this going into their Bye week?

I have read a lot on this already but we don't really know much and may not hear more until practices start up again next week. Even then the Colts are deceptive. What I do know is that he had an MRI on Monday and here it is Wednesday and we have heard nothing about it.

Shefter just "tweeted" that he is out indefinitely but is looking to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion to basically get told a real time frame. Does Jacob Tamme have ANY value or does the slew of productive Colts' WRs value just go up?

The fact that the Colts are admitting D.Clark has an injury could be a concern with Indy being so hush hush about player injury's in the past

That is a very good question, I wish I knew the answer.:headscratch:

With the Colts, they may just take Blair White and run 4 wide receiver sets from now on??

Shefter also hinted that Clark could possibly be out the rest of the season :shake::worried3:

With gates hurt as well, Finley gone, & now Clark could be out for the season, thats a lot of people's top 3 TEs coming into the year. And VD also had an MRI (although he was ok). :eek

Collie out for a few weeks with hand surgery, Addai out indef. for shoulder, Clark may be out indef. for wrist. Brown has been out for how long with hammy issues.

Wayne and Garcon's value just skyrocketed. Gonzales too if he could get healthy

sheesh...

Remember when I said repeatedly Mike Hart!! :koolaid:

But wow, Anthony Gonzalez, totally forgotten man. But is he still the guy to own? Or is it Blair White? Or hell, who the hell is the Colts back up TE?

From Yahoo:

Oct 21 Tamme is likely to start at tight end with Dallas Clark sidelined indefinitely with a hand/wrist injury, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Recommendation: Tamme has looked strong in the passing game in the preseason when given an opportunity, but it's not clear if he'll be a big factor in the passing game despite taking over Clark's spot. Brody Eldridge may also be a factor in the passing game at tight end and the Colts may also use more three- and four-receiver sets.

Jacob tamme..... who the hell is this!!! WHERE ARE THE COLLEGE FANS!!!!

I have one slot to waste on this disaster! Going with Hart for now, but any input on these other guys would be appreciated! :headscratch:
