Bears | Cutler turning down endorsement deals Mon Jul 6, 03:16 PM Bob LeGere, of The Daily Herald, reports Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler has been offered several endorsement deals but has turned them down because he has not played for the Bears yet. 'With all the excitement that's happened so far, there have been a lot of endorsement opportunities. But I've kind of steered clear of those because I haven't even stepped on the field yet. I'm trying to take care of that before I step into that (other) realm,' Cutler said.

This was a very smart move on his part in my opinion.

Vaughn McClure, of the Chicago Tribune, reports Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey said during a Chicago radio interview that he believes Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler has the ability to be the NFL's top quarterback. "Well he's definitely in the top 10 as far as what he's done to this point,'' Bailey said. "Now where he can be, he can be the best in the game, he has that ability. The guy is very smart, very sharp, a good arm; he has all the stuff you'd want.

Amazing how fast your image can clean up when you slow down on Crackin' a Bottle.

Not that I would personally know that, but I've heard things from others...
