Ok, not all of you are in the IBL, but on the FFLW board, some guy was talking about his wife's work league, and posting some of the teams--none of which I thought were all that impressive--so I asked him what team got Jamaal Charles. He said...

"Charles (rightfully) had a crazy drop, the team that took Forte took Charles around the corner (27, almost everyone passed on him TWICE) and whiffed on almost every other position. In a fourteen team league, those are pretty good teams."

Jamaal Charles #27 overall?

I told him it was nice that his wife's employer built so much of their workforce from the MR/DD population.

Plus it just occurred to me that if the guy who took Forte took Charles at #27 in a 14 team league--that means he took Forte with the #2 overall pick!

It's really not that big of a deal when you think about it. Yeah, based on ADP, its a total head scratcher. You have to remember that a vast majority of the people playing fantasy football aren't as sick as some of us. A lot of people go into a draft and select their favorite players, players from their favorite teams, etc etc. They haven't done 300 mocks drafts or poured over the stats and data.

That being said, it still doesn't explain how an entire group of 14 could all be so down on a guy like Jamaal Charles.
