Cowboys RBs Choice and Barber: One has to go?

That seems to be the general consensus at this time. The one who stays gets a bit of a bump fantasy wise but probably only to the status of nice flex play. Barber would probably benefit most from from new scenery but a lot of that depends on being a nice fit where he goes. As Sarge has already pointed out there could be a lot of Free Agency RB movement this off season. Thanks Sarge, nice work on this list.

Tim Hightower - Arizona Cardinals

Jerrious Norwood - Atlanta Falcons
Jason Snelling - Atlanta Falcons

DeAngelo Williams - Carolina Panthers

Cedric Benson - Cincinnati Bengals
Brian Leonard - Cincinnati Bengals

Lawrence Maroney - Denver Broncos

Kevin Smith - Detroit Lions

Brandon Jackson - Green Bay Packers

Joseph Addai - Indianapolis Colts

Ronnie Brown - Miami Dolphins
Ricky Williams - Miami Dolphins
Patrick Cobbs - Miami Dolphins (mentioned only because the others are FAs too)

Kevin Faulk - New England Patriots
Sammy Morris - New England Patriots
Fred Taylor - New England Patriots
Ben Jarvis Green-Ellis - New England Patriots (Only an RFA, but mentioned due to others)

Pierre Thomas - New Orleans Saints

Ahmad Bradshaw - New York Giants
DJ Ward - New York Giants

Michael Bush - Oakland Raiders

Jerome Harrison - Philadelphia Eagles

Mewelde Moore - Pittsburgh Steelers

Darren Sproles - San Diego Chargers
Mike Tolbert - San Diego Chargers

Brian Westbrook - San Francisco 49ers

Leon Washington - Seattle Seahawks

Kenneth Darby - St Louis Rams (the once cuff to SJax)

If only one quarter of these Free Agents move it would make a very big puzzle for those looking for RBs later in the draft who can contribute. Early Wavier wires will be important in leagues next year as well.

I bet Barber is gone and Choice stays. But I'm not sure where Barber would fit in. Maybe Carolina, if they let DWill go.

I have been a huge choice fan for a few years now. Constantly wondering why Dallas doesn't give this kid a shot. He has done nothing but produce and produce well when used. This coming from an Eagles fan is very high praise!

Also, as a choice owner in a dynasty league......... ;)

Barber doesnt have the skill set to work in Cincinnati's airshow IMO.

Carolina might be an interesting destination, but it depends on what Rivera thinks of Goodson

Goodson was huge during that span in which he got to get the majority of carries. I used Goodson as a starting back for quite awhile in one league that got kick return yardage on the basis of that alone. Goodsons' performance as a kick returner was one of the few areas of the Panthers team that functioned very well last year.

Solid points there Coach...I guess the only holdup would be the health issues of Stewart. Maybe having Barber as a 3rd back could help alleviate some of those concerns

Barber should be released but I think he's got some dirty pictures of Jerry stashed away some where because he should have been released already.
