Lockouts do amazing things perhaps?
No, not the lockout, but the new CBA. I think players got smart. They realized that there were a ton of young players getting huge money and fizzling out. And that due to that huge money, they could not get long term vet contracts due to the salary cap. Now players will have to earn a long term big $$$ contract. Which is how it should be.
