(Rotoworld) Colts owner Jim Irsay confirmed Wednesday that former longtime offensive coordinator Tom Moore has retired from football. Analysis: It was revealed earlier in the month that Moore had left his 2010 position as senior offensive assistant. Irsay is leaving the door open if Moore has another change of heart -- he also briefly retired in 2009. Moore, 72, had been with the Colts since 1998, the same year Peyton Manning broke into the league. Between '99 and 2010, just once under Moore's watch did Indianapolis finish worse than ninth in the NFL in total offense.
