Cobb goes down

It looked bad, but what was he supposed to do? Hope his injury wasn't as terrible as it looked. Another year and another rash of injuries for the Packers. In addition to Cobb and Jones, Perry got hurt too. We should know more tomorrow.

from what I have heard so far, he may have dodged a bullet. Jones as well.

Screw it my lunch is over... I did it just in case somebody hears about it during MNF since I miss the first half at least tonight. Need a big night from the Colts!! In a full point ppr with 2 points for solo tackles I have TY Hilton, Vinatieri, and Jerrell Freeman up against Woodhead and Gates... gonna be really close!!

Yeah when the story was breaking XM Fantasy was reporting the team said 2, but insiders predicted 4 or more... then they cleared it up and said 6-8 which quite frankly makes more sense... I dunno if it was right but I dropped Hartline and Jennings for Boykin and Randle over lunch

So... is Boykin a must pick up???? over Hartline? drop hartline??
There might be a higher ceiling with Boykin but Hartline is pretty steady Number three. Lacy is gonna carry much of this load. ......and Finley. I see Boykin as a fine bye week/injury guy.

Some game notes.....You'll be fine!

WR Jarrett Boykin, Rec: 1 - 43 - 0 (6 targets)

Boykin started his day off by bailing Aaron Rodgers out when the quarterback was sacked and had the ball stripped by the Ravens. Rodgers had the pocket collapse on him and when he was knocked down Elvis Dumervil swatted the ball away. The football was kicked around for a minute, and Boykin—who had come running back to help out—picked it up and even tried to make something out of the play by running it (he didn’t make it far). Boykin got a lot of time in three wide receiver sets due to an injury to James Jones and then was slotted into two receiver sets once Cobb went down. He had a rough time of it, catching just one pass and dropping two passes. His one catch was an impressive catch and run in the third quarter, when he took a screen pass 43 yards. On the play, Aaron Rodgers immediately hit Boykin with the pass and the receiver turned upfield, making the first tackler miss, then slipping two more defenders and cutting inside before finally being brought down at the Baltimore 25. While Boykin wasn’t very fast, he was elusive and showed a good ability to use his blockers to clear his lanes as he ran. As he may need to fill in for a few weeks with both Cobb and Jones hurt, he’ll need more of that. It could simply be that the Packers need to use him on shorter routes when he doesn’t need to work so hard to get separation, and allow him to make a play after he has the ball in his hands.
