Remember, this is based on re-draft leagues and non ppr scoring.

Today's Match-up:
Matt Ryan vs Donovan McNabb

Last Year's Stats:
Matt Ryan - 14 gms - 2,916 pa yds - 22 pa TD's - 14 Int's - 49 ru yds - 1 ru TD
Donovan McNabb - 14 gms - 3,553 pa yds - 22 pa TD's - 10 Int's - 140 ru yds - 2 ru TD's

Today's match-up is between two QB's in completely different stages of their career. McNabb is looking for one last great run which Ryan is looking to rebound after a little bit of a sophmore slump? So which one is the pick? That is the question in today's close call!

When i voted for M.Ryan i thought for sure D.McNabb would have way more votes and i may have been the only one.

How wrong was i

I have to go McNabb here. I see Atlanta really committing to the run with Turner healthy. Ryan will pass, but not much more than last year. Maybe even less.

McNabb will BE the offense in Washington. They now have OTs and OL, they have a healthy and committed Portis, they have solid Tes that both can catch, and they have Moss at Wr...who is really underated since he hasn't really had a solid Qb.

I go McNabb by alot here.

I see a workman like approach for Ryan and the Falcons. I see them moving plenty of chains and eating up some yardage while they do. I see McNabb being far more erratic, with some huge games, and more field goals kicked.

Got to go with Ryan as he is more acclimated with his system.

While I certainly don't think that McNabb is a bad option for anyone, all the changes in Washington, new coach, new QB, new running backs, and so on, could make for a rather uninspired start to the season.
