OK...my track record has sucked this bowl season. But, I think it comes down to McElroy. This is what I said in the SEC championship and I "knew" he wouldn't hold up to the pressure of the game and Florida's defense. Boy, was I wrong.

I am betting that McElroy does hold up and in fact Julius Jones is a major factor. Ingram does OK.

With all that said, still a close game. Bama's D is strong enough against Colt. 4 or 5 point game, maybe even OT.


Because, I said this, that means either Ala 52 Texas 10 OR Texas 54 Alabama 10.

Are you getting any rest Sarge. When LSU made their first title game in the 90's I darn near couldn't sleep.

Yeah, I have too many other irons in the fire right now. Id love to have another championship, but Im damn proud of this team regardless. I just get tired of turning on ESPN and listening to the analysts choking on Sabans neither regions.

Alabama is damn good, but they arent unbeatable.

I hear plenty about the trouble we had with Nebraska, a defense which just kicked Arizona off the face of this planet, held down a Virginia Tech team that throttled Tennesee, and has probably the best defensive line in college football.

I dont hear anything negative about Alabama. But thats ESPN for you.
