Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel practiced on Monday for the first time since injuring his knee and ankle against the Seahawks in a preseason game on August 29. Cassel sprained the medial collateral ligament in his right knee and also sustained a minor ankle injury in the game and did not play in their preseason finale.
