One of the toughest decisions a team will face when evaluating former Auburn University quarterback Cam Newton is to figure out how his game translates to the NFL level.

Thursday, Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey called Newton a “wildcat” quarterback because he played primarily out of the shotgun at Auburn and ran a lot out of that formation.

He goes on in the article to describe how difficult it is to develop a QB that has never been in a pro style offense.
 
Bullshit. He is trying to downplay his interest in Newton. The Bills need a QB and Newton is a better bet than Blaine Gabbert.
 
However I feel he's right in saying that a guy with no prostyle experience is behind a player that has played in that offense. Far enough behind to pass on? Hmmm. I still say that this isn't where Cam lands.
 
This is the same team that passed on guys who could really help them and drafted CJ Spillar to their best position.
