Though the Fish did not sign Chad right after he worked out with them this morning Chad's web site is now reporting that he has signed with Miami. I just lost some of my love for the team in Miami.

PFT has confirmed the signing. Chad is far from a lock to make the final roster even on a receiver poor team like the Dolphins. There's a story out right now about how Chad lacked the football IQ to play for the Pats and more and more it appears simply put he just isn't a smart man at all. Duh!

Nice, low risk signing by the Fins. This is a team with Bess and Hartline as their starters. COC should be an upgrade over them. Now I am not saying he is going to be back to the production he had in Cincy, not close, but I think he will have a decent bounce back year. Maybe 800 and 4.
I don't think he'll be competition to Bess in the slot but if he can't beat out Naanee and first year player B.J. Cunningham he needs to go on Survivor. He's back home and I like his chances IF he can learn the plays other than go long because he daoesn't have the legs for that anymore.
