Chad Ochocinco is still on Pat's roster

Both PFT & the Herald report that Chad is still a member of the Patriots football team. Why? Sources say that Chad still has the physical ability to play in the NFL but they claim that the man still can't/hasn't grasped the playbook in New England. Come on man. Most are predicting that he'll be sent packing this month and for a little while today it looked like it had happened when Chad removed his association with the Pats from his Tweeter page. Later he put it back up so no such luck. The Pats have a crowd at WR and I'm betting Chad will not be with the team many more days. Are there still Outlaws living that think Chad can be a legitimate fantasy WR? I'll go first, NO!

Add COC to the growing number of veteran diva WR's that can't find a team.....TO, Edwards, Burress and now COC.

Will be interesting to see if he catches on someone. I think in the right system and if he can accept being a complimentary player, that Chad could still be a contributor on an NFL roster.....as a fantasy player, his days of being fantasy relevant are behind him.

I think you're right here MIller but that darn "IF" will continue to get in his way.

From reports the last couple years, it sounds like it would need to be a really simple system.

Seriously though, Miami could stand to bring in vets to try out.
He sure couldn't figure out the Pats system......but for all the **** he pulled in Cincy, knowing the system was never an issue, but he was in it forever as well.....will be interesting to see.

Palmer sure seemed to get ****ed at him often. I assume he ran routes wrong at times?

Palmer and COC's breakdowns were more on improvs than running wrong routes.....more them not being on the right page that not knowing the play book......that and Palmer just being a whinny b!tch by nature ;)

I will disagree somewhat here. Yes, most of the flak was due to COC's antics. But I always, always was curious why the coach and OC didn't ride Palmer more for his later flury of picks. I wonder if we are not now finding out why.......

Word is that is where he wants to play (hometown) and with an owner craving attention and HBO around the corner for them I could see them doing this. When Bess and Hartline are your starters, you could always use some WR help.

TJ is now on record as saying that Chad had trouble learning the plays while he was with the Bengals. No real surprise, we've known for years the man was thick between the ears.
