.................is crap. And what we all have seen these first few weeks of 'ball have proved it. So many teams overrated (USC, OSU, GA, Ga Tech, Okla, to name a few) and so many underrated teams(Miami,FSU, Pitt, Mich, many more, you get the point). These last few weeks have been full of so called upsets and down to the wire games. After what i have seen so far from the top "10" teams in the nation this year , and the bottom 10 of the top 25, there isn't much difference. Not impressed at all with anybody in the top 10 so far this year. So with this being said, i feel the top 25 poll should not make its appearance til after the 3rd week of the season and should be based on records and quality of teams played. This would get rid of teams playing lesser teams just to notch a win to have a better W/L ratio and in search of that 6th win to be bowl eligible. Which brings up another point. There are way to many bowl games out now. But that is another subject for a later time.
