If you've been holding onto CedBen (me) awaiting his return to Packer Land you can forget about it. Benson had surgery today to repair a Lisfranc injury and will not be playing anymore this season. It's okay to cry Packer fans. Your GM's refusal to seek out a legitimate RB before the trade deadline has sent your post season chances of success spiraling downward.

I was leary of him coming back this year.

And yes, I didn't get why they didn't make a move for a real RB. Green and Starks are the suck and there were guys out there, probably cheap that would have been an upgrade.

At 30, I believe, it well could be Gizzil. At the very least he's going back on the open market and waiting on a team to get desperate again. Still, before his injury he was servicable in fantasy circles.
