Steve Reed, of CarolinaGrowl.com, reports Carolina Panthers FB Brad Hoover will have to fight off FB Tony Fiammetta for the team's starting fullback spot. "Tony is a good guy, a great guy," Hoover said. "I'm trying to show him the ropes – but not everything. There has been no indication of how they want to approach it. The way we both have to approach it is we're fighting for a position and (knowing) this is a competition."

With the lack of true fullbacks in this league, both will have a job somewhere.

While Carolina’s rookie RB Mike Goodson won’t see too many carries behind D’Angelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, Pro Football Weekly is reporting that the speedy back may be utilized as change-of-pace option. The Texas A&M standout may also be lined up in the slot due to his catching ability.

Goodson was a crap as a runner, but great as a receiver. In deeper dynasty leagues he is worth a roster spot.

According to the Gaston Gazette, Jake Delhomme thinks that Dwayne Jarrett can take a third-year leap just like DeAngelo Williams did last season.

Please pass me some of what Delhomme is smoking.
