Beanie Wells finished next to last among all NFL backs, ahead of only Ladell Betts, in Pro Football Focus' "Elusive Rating" for 2010. The game tape doesn't lie. Playing behind a poor run-blocking line, Beanie managed just four missed tackles in 116 carries. For comparison's sake, LeGarrette Blount broke 50 tackles on 201 attempts. Wells ran like a man possessed as a rookie, so we'd attribute the majority of his 2010 woes to a bum knee that turned him into a hesitant plodder lacking moves to make defenders miss.
