Cancellation theory

I have never liked it, but playing in a final this weekend in a 14 teamer and am heavily favored (he lost Antonio Brown and Hunter Henry this week and with 14 teams, not a lot out there). He really needs a huge game from Matthew Stafford to pull the upset. I am already starting Marvin Jones, but have Ebron as a flex option (Keenan Cole, Kerwin Williams and Peyton Barber as well). Was leaning towards Cole or Barber, but now thinking of playing Ebron since if Stafford has a big game, Ebron will get a nice chunk.

Thoughts?

Trying to play "safe" cost me in two semis last week. How have you been playing in the league? Aggressive? Trying to blow folks out or safe? Dance with the one that brought you I always heard. I go Cole over Ebron even if the Ebron play makes sense in a defensive way. My luck, if I played Ebron is that Stafford blows up but somehow Ebron isn't a part of it. Best of luck my friend. Yeah, I generally hate looking at points from this point of view, so thanks for the reality check.

Losing 2 leagues as the top seed was a big wake up to me.

Losing 2 leagues as the top seed was a big wake up to me.

I'm pretty frustrated myself about this. More so the accumulation as its happened to me two years in a row. Though I wasn't the favorite this year. Still with Brown anything seemed possible, but he goes down and that's all she wrote. The amount of injuries this year was a real downer as I did a pretty darn good job drafting in my leagues but fell flat largely because of injuries. I also hated the pick up rules in my main leagues as they let last place team make their pickups and then on down the line. I had good records out of the gate 6-1 in one league and couldn't pick up anyone of substance even as my guys were dropping like flys. I would have likely been better off losing some games early.
