Can we make a team out of this trash?

Talking about guys like Jake Delhomme and Larry Johnson made me wonder if the Outlaws can come up with an entire staring lineup of overpaid NFL trash.

QB - Jake Delhomme
QB2- Matt Cassell
RB - Reggie Bush
RB - Larry Johnson
WR - Terrell Owens
WR - Roy E. Williams

Oh, I've got a one! Gibril Wilson when he's playing like he did in the second half of last night's game.

Oh, and come to think of it, Channing Crowder. He's like Bryan Cox, minus the talent and ferocity to back up his mouth.

I put Shockey there. Look at his season last year... Also, if Bress wasn't throwing to him, how would he be doing? Trash.

?? Who cares who's throwing the ball to him? It is what it is. As far as last year so what. He's been pretty productive top 10 in yds, catches and TD's with a bye already. I would say worth the money.

As far as personality I don't like the guy either but he gets it done on the field more often then not imo

Ummm, wouldn't that be the case whoever the QB throwing is? I mean if the QB is not throwing to him then how can he make catches?

I'm not saying....I'm just saying.

Looking at Shockey's stats, the guy has never finished a full 17 game season in 7 full seasons. He also has never broken the thousand yard mark, let alone the 900 mark... something I think sets elite TE's apart getting paid the money Shockey does. He has big play ability but his attitude sets him back. He plays when he wants to play and his inconsistency in games shows that. I'm not a fan and have avoided him in fantasy drafts and have never regretted doing so. Just not a fan...

Bress was throwing to him last year, see stats.

If I had Shockey I wouldn't be afraid to start him. Isn't this about players who aren't living up to their paycheck. I'd say thus far this year he has exceeded the expectations of the masses. I'm pretty sure that the Saints fron office aren't complaining about his production thus far this year. However we all know the injury is coming, lol...It just hasn't happened yet. Shockey is misplaced on this list, IMO of course.

I'm not comfortable putting Shockey in this role right now. Will he do it all season long, probably not. But so far he has been a great start at TE even in a Saints huge passing pie. If you want a TE to pick on so far this season how about Witten? He has been solid but not spectacular in any way.

I'm not sure how much Flozell Adams is getting paid but it seems like he is always getting called for Holding or Tripping so that he doesn't give up a sack. I could be off-line here just throwing out a name to see what you guys think.

How did Jamarcus Russell not make the list, does he make less than these other 2 clowns?

Kellen Winslow Jr. should be the TE since it doesn't matter who is throwing the passes right?

Well, Delhomme is the worst QB in football currently ranked 32nd among starting QBs. Cassell was all hype and no skill. He still belongs on the bench.

Chris Canty possibly...can't find his dollar figure, but Cowboys let him go and paid Olshansky considerably less...
