BYU close to going Independent

For football they will be independent then for all the other sports they will be in the WAC.

With the losses the WAC suffered today there may be no conference to go to. West Coast Conference officials have reached out to BYU about non football membership but as yet report no reply. Stay tuned for tomorrows WAC news conference addressing the future of the league.

How many people have the BYU channel? I don't think this move for BYU makes sense, unless this is some sort of short term scheme to eventually land them in one of the future super conferences.
