From rotoworld,

Rams released QB Marc Bulger.

The move saves $8.5 million in salary, which will come in handy when the Rams make Sam Bradford one of the league's highest paid quarterbacks later this month. Bulger, who turned 33 today, has seen his YPA average drop in six consecutive seasons and his completion rate fall in five straight while looking shell shocked in the pocket behind a swinging-gate offensive line. He'll have suitors (e.g. old coaches Mike Martz and Scott Linehan in the NFC North), but is unlikely to receive a serious chance to start with his new team. Apr. 5 - 3:42 pm et

He's a western PA boy.. went to college 2 hours from Pittsburgh.. Ben can't keep it in his pants..

I smell cheap insurance policy!!

Is it me...or is this the perfect back up for Chicago? Bulger's best days were with Martz. Just sayin........

Pittsburgh with 4 QBs? Im not sure. Id say Chicago. Who is backing up Drew Brees these days?

Brees has old man Brunell and Chase Daniel. In Pittsburgh, I'd prefer Bulger over Batch, simply due to the starting experience and Batch can't stay healthy for more than a quarter at a time.
Chicago makes alot of sense.

rotoworld,
The player rep for free agent Marc Bulger reiterated that his client wants to play football in 2010.

Agent Tom Condon says Bulger is "just taking his time" deciding who to sign with. The Arizona Republic has confirmed that the Cardinals have not had recent discussions with Bulger, though club officials have not ruled out pursing him at a later date. Matt Leinart is getting a full offseason first.

rotoworld,
Several teams are ready to sign free agent Marc Bulger right now, but the veteran QB will probably wait until closer to training camp to decide on a team, according to ESPN's Len Pasquarelli.

Bulger has been linked to the Cardinals, Bears and Panthers. He appears resigned to a No. 2 role, making a reunion with Mike Martz in Chicago look like a logical choice. Bulger's best chance to start would be in Arizona.
