Bills | Edwards praises young WRs Mon Jun 21, 08:44 PM
Chris Brown, from BuffaloBills.com, reports Bills QB Trent Edwards was asked if he's seen improvement in his game through the course of OTAs with respect to the offense. While he briefly addressed his own progress, he made sure to praise the young receiving corps. "I still have a lot to learn," said Edwards. "There are still things I need to iron out. There are still things I need to get on the same page with some receivers. I like a lot of the young receivers we have. I think it's the best group of young receivers we've had since I've been here. I've been really encouraged with those guys. Just getting on the same page with those guys. I'm happy with where my mechanics are but once you get content you're not going to get any better. So I need to continue to improve and continue to get better."
Our view: The Bills have one of the most unproven WR corps in the entire league, but that doesn't mean they lack talent or potential. James Hardy has a good size/speed combination, but his pro career has been marred by injury and inconsistency. Steve Johnson is a physical WR who isn't afraid to go over the middle of a defense. Rookie Marcus Easley might have the highest upside out of the bunch, but must develop his game after only being a one-year starter at UCONN.

No mention of Evans. He will be heavily covered this season.
