Browns sign Jake

This is starting to slightly resemble the psychological wreckage that Snyder caused for Jason Campbell last offseason..
 
Maybe they knew what they were doing when they took Holmgren's GM hat away in Seattle. Practically starter money for a declining Delhomme in a harsh winter region. SWEET!
 
J.Delhomme has been a proven winner in the past, a fresh start with a new team to clear his demons as a Panther.

The QB situation in Cleveland is a mess, M.Holmgren will no doubt go "West Coast" offense giving J.Delhomme as good a chance as the B.Quinn which has done nothing to impress.

Okay, at least he had Steve Smith to carry his butt in Carolina....and Williams at rb. What does he have for tools in Cleveland? Watson? :biglaugh:

Well now, looks like B.Quinn is out and J.Delhomme will get a shot to start barring the drafting of a QB which is entirely possible
 
Jake's gonna start, regardless if they draft a QB or not. They almost seem to be positioning themselves at a Jake Locker run next year. Also, don't forget that Ratliff was Mangini's little pet project in NY so don't be too surprised if he's given the chance at the #2 spot over Seneca.
 
I figured Seneca was brought in to start??? He's not a qb of the futrure by any stretch, but he is the perfect guy for an interim season of West Coast offense, as he can stretch plays with his legs, and minimize negative plays.
 
I think it will be a competition. I know they said there won't be a competition, but I bet there will be. Jake has to prove he can remove his past demons. Seneca needs to show he can stay in the game and avoid the stupid mistake.

I also think they go Qb rather early as well in this draft.
