Browns select Josh Gordon Wr Baylor in 2nd round

Browns with the 2nd pick in the 2nd round(Buffalo had #1) selected Josh Gordon Wr Baylor.

Now Cleveland has a new Qb, new stud Rb and potententially more help at Wr in Gordon.

They now do not have a 2nd round pick in next years draft.


I don't know a whole lot about Gordon, any opinions on this move?

From what I have read, had he come out for the draft he would have been rated higher than alot of Wrs taken in this years draft.

Former Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon ran a 4.52 40-yard dash in front of representatives from 21 teams at his pro day Tuesday. Gordon held the workout in advance of Thursday's supplemental draft.

From what I read there were several teams looking at a third round grab for Gordon, RG3 was also pushing the Redskins to grab him.

woah.....a high 2nd for him, think they reached there. History with guys in the supplemental draft is not good. 3-4 is where I think you can safely take a gamble, but a 2nd for a team like the Browns carries way too much risk IMO.

3 positive drug tests in college I think, not sure if there is anything else.
