Brown RB Peyton Hillis is making me nevous, how about you??

Browns RB Peyton Hillis has me very nervous. He is a starter on two teams for me and I have been going round and round on him for two days now. Very productive and very banged up! A tough Steeler D is making my head spin, my brain churn. He is my most important maybe I shouldn't start my stud debate this week. How about you? Are you hitting the Tums this week?

I will probably go with him twice unless the news on him heads south today. But I will also be holding my breath from 1 pm to 4 pm Sunday. :)

He is the Cleveland offense, and remember he ran over Baltimore.

Start at will.

I wouldn't.

RC is a genius (as always)!

Like coach said, how are you going to convince another player to pay full price on a banged up hurting WW pickup? And that before he plays pittsburg? And coming off his worst game of the year??? All your getting for him in a competitive league is a guy like maybe Lynch back?

I mean, sure if your in the league like the one where some guy traded Mike Williams for Ryan Matthews, or you can get good value, trade him for sure! But I just dont see it happening in any legit league. He is the browns offence, he will probably suck this week cause its the steelers, but he should be a decent play going forward if he can stay healthy. Hang touch coach, Saints-NWE-Jags on horizon in next 5 weeks!!

It would not happen if you do not try. I probably made about 50 trade offers and only 3 of those went through. I am a buy low sell high person. And you could get a why better RB then Lynch right now. Hillis is almost considered a must start. One matchup will not deter an owner in need. The guy I traded with for Mathrews has Mendelhall, A. Foster, Turner and M Bush. Colston was his best WR and had noone else. He need WRs... Mike Williams is a low end WR2 and Bees is a high end WR3. Both will be starters for his team. (PPR w/return yards). While Ryan Mathrews is his 4th best RBs. So far I traded J. Cribbs for Crabtree, even tho I was advice not to on here I did. Then I recently traded Crabtree and Olsen for Deangelo. I am not sure If I won on the second trade tho.

It depends who you are playing with. You made a post:

"I give; Amendola and Moreno
I Get; Randy Moss and J. Stewart"

If I did that in any of my leagues, I would have to find another 10 new owners to play with if it was a 12 team league, cause the other 10 owners would kill me or consider the league a joke, but regardless, the two people involved in the trade would NOT be back next year.

Knowing the coach and the other regulars on this forum, no way on god's green earth he can even SEND an offer like that. He would be laughed at like no tomorrow! Now, if he's in a random yahoo league, he can probably offer up Peyton Hillis for Chris Johnson and it might work too, cause some people are just plain stupid!

Also, hindsight is 20/20! Are you saying if somebody drafted Collie over Ryan Grant at your draft, they were a genius??? I say, they were stupid, and got lucky! FF has a lot of luck involved, somebody who took Nicks over Steve Smith was probably mocked at draft time, but is a genius now!

As for Crabtree, I have always been PRO-CRABTREE all year (go check my posts), and I would never say Cribbs over Crabtree.

But all that is neither here nor there. In any legit or competitive league, your not getting any real value for Hillis (Like RC & Coach have mentioned), and I cannot imagine the coach is anything less then a way too competitive league! Thats why I always still their ideas ;)

First of all there is a league vote on all trades. So if the league thinks its unfaird they could reject it. But only if they think the trade is unfair. Moreno is on a high power offense team. He already received 7 goal line carries. Thats 3.5 per game. (Avg - 17.5 ppg) Plus he could catch the ball just as good as any other RB. Before he got injured in the preseason he was consider at least a top 15 RB. As for Amedola; well when he was the number 1 WR he had 12 catches for 95 yards. And yes he does get endzone looks. 7 of them so far. Moss value is unknown. Farve is ailing and Peterson will take away some TDs. There is a good chance Farve is not going to make it the whole season. As for stewart, well he plays for Carolina. I have D. Williams so he is more valuable to me then anyone else. So saying this trade is laughable doesnt make any sense. I could easily get burnt on this one. This is not a pro league of any sort but it is a small money league 60$ per person.

I really dont want to get much more into this cause so much BETTER info to absorb and so many better things to debate, and I need to pick Rams brain, and read RC's deep end, and congratulate Miller for finally nailing a Lock of the week!

So, lets just put it down to people's opinions then, but i really believe. Any league that allows:

R Moss + J. Stewart for Amendola and Moreno, is a joke! I mean, good on you for pulling it off! If i could pull that off in a FREE league I would be like HELL YES! You pulled it off in a money league, so good on you. I even said in my post about the actual trade, I would have accepted as well! So nothing against you!

But here is why it is a joke, these are rankings from different websites, so lets compare the players (Where Moss ranks compared to Amendola and where Morenco is ranked as a RB). So this spin of, "Oh, Amendola is this stud on the rise and who really knows with Randy Moss", that is a load of crap. Anybody who has a GENERAL IQ over 10 can click some links and just check stats/rankings.

So yes, not only do people in your league apparently know very little about fantasy football. I am actually going to go one further and say, these people may not even be able to READ!! Because if they click on ANY random website, and just the rankings, Randy Moss is miles ahead of Amendola. And Morenco is not ranked in the top 25 RBs on most websites. (Fox does not even have him in the top 100!!!)

You should pat yourself on the back for pulling it off, but give up on trying to convince me it was a fair trade. Thats like somebody trading Ryan Grant for SD D at the start of the season, they got lucky cause Grant got injured, and they want me to believe they made a good deal! No matter whatever happens in this trade in the future, based on the facts right now, I will never consider it remotely fair!

Wow, way too serious.... we need a dancing pickle!! :pickle:

Dont laugh, OK go ahead

James Davis will become at least the #2 RB for the Browns and should have been all along.

The trade Harrison for Bell is like trading two vacuum cleaners they both suck.

I have been trying to open all your eyes to the fact that J.Harrison was a 2009 3 game wonder and has become a career blunder.

Are you a believer yet ???

I think if he was worth a crap he'd have been busy already.

Peyton Hillis said he would be surprised if he is not 100 percent healthy for Sunday's outing at Pittsburgh, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Analysis: Hillis added that he feels great right now, and his thigh injury is not an issue. He will be looking to score in his sixth straight game tomorrow.

Now that makes me feel a little better.......
