Frank Schwab, of the Colorado Springs Gazette, reports Denver Broncos WR Jabar Gaffney worked with the first-team offense during offseason workouts, replacing WR Brandon Marshall, who skipped the workouts.

Just a note on who was getting the OTA reps while marshall was off.

Gaffney has no real value with Marshall there.

Marshall was just told by management that he had to report to camp with the rookies because of his hip surgery. I can't imagine that will go over well with Marshall. Seems like management is going to push Marshall and see what happens

Oh, I agree. This is just one of those little info snippets just in case there is a big Marshall move before the season. I don't expect it and Gaffney will probably have no fantasy value at all except in the largest of leagues. A lot of this stuff I post often is info that really doesn't matter to the usual FF owner in the typical 10-12 owner leagues. But to someone in a 16 or plus owners league it can be a valuable nugget of info. Just trying to cover everybodies needs for info.

I totally agree, which is why I added the additional little snippet that management was pushing Marshall to see if he breaks or not. They know Marshall is pissed off at the team and then they say he has to come in with the rookies... they are testing Marshall which is directly related to Gaffney's value and also a valuable nugget. I wasn't disagreeing - just adding to the information. I try not to play easy 8-10 team leagues where everyone has a stud. I go for the 12-16 team leagues, so I understand player value in larger leagues, which is also why I'm following the situation.
