Ryan Torain (knee) fully participated in practice on Monday, the first day for injured players and rookies to report, the Denver Post reports.

Torain get to show off for the coaches early in camp. Moreno is not signed and Lamont Jordan and CBuck don't have to show up Till Friday.

If Torain can stay healthy, he could be big part of RBBC IMO.
If not with the Bronco's, some other team could benefit with him.

It's nice that he gets a bit of time and reps alone in front of the coaches. You will probably hear nice things about him this week. Take that with a grain of salt as he is the only one there. If you are still hearing good things after this weekend, then you can assume that he has taken advantage of his early showcase and is making an impact with it.

The fact he touched a football and didnt fall over half dead is promising.

Potential trade fodder?

he had the inside track last year in training camp for the starting gig before he fell apart. Need to see him in some sort of real game action before I consider him a threat to Moreno.

Dont know much about Torain except what i have read that he was an injury waiting to happen in college.

Not so sure he is feature back material, a 1-2 punch change of pace RB with Moreno seems more realistic.
Dont see any threat here.

I'm a fan of Torain and honestly I would like to see the Eagles trade for him. The only thing holding him back is injury but the risk/reward is very low for any team willing to stash him on their roster and see if the stars align.

Moreno has the "inside track" THIS year. Torain got injured. Moreno is holding out. It looks like another Denver rookie RB disaster to me. Only difference is....Torain's injuries will heal. Moreno's ego is incurable.

Why must Torain prove himself on the field yet Moreno gets a free pass?

I'll have to see some sort of game action out of Moreno before I consider him a threat to Hillis.

The way it's going, Travis Henry will score as many fantasy points as Moreno.

Sorry....I just HATE these hold-out scenarios. :shake:

Hillis is an Alstott-esque fullback by trade who happened to stumble into some significant game action last year due to injuries. He filled the same role in college at Arkansas.
Moreno gets a free pass because he went 13th overall, which by default makes him the lead horse in the stable until someone else proves otherwise.
Agree on the holdout opinion. Hard to say sometimes if it's the player's fault or their agents'.

Seems like everyone assumes Moreno can play with the big boys. Seems like he thinks he's the second coming of Jim Brown. McDaniel's has the Broncos looking like AFC West Patriots. lol. Holdouts are stupid. With the NFC East et al. on schedule the Broncos face some tough run defenses.
